Plants can be planted directly into the terracotta pots. This is much better than just putting a plastic pot in the terracotta pot. This will keep your plants alive longer. Terracotta is a natural material that "breathes." It absorbs water and air. Did you know that most plants actually die because they get too much water? You can avoid this problem with these terracotta pots. The pots absorb excess water from the soil.
Keep in mind that these products are handmade and rustic. The color and finish are always slightly different. Depending on the position in the kiln during the firing process, the pots will become lighter or darker in color.
